COVID-19
AASCSC is a non-profit organization, based in Orange County, CA (our center is in Santa Ana), that serves all age groups and all members of our community. We believe in an inter-generational approach to building a stronger, healthier community through direct services, advocacy, and capacity building. At the heart of these efforts is the imperative to ensure health equity within our community.
AASCSC continues to offer vaccination clinics all over Orange County – from San Juan Capistrano to Anaheim Together with our community partner, Mercy Pharmacy and host sites, we have administered more than 28,000 vaccinations to protect people from COVID-19.
Our mobile vaccination clinics help seniors, essential workers and underserved communities to gain access to COVID-19 vaccines. While in these neighborhoods, we educate and emphasize the importance of vaccines, health and safety. Working in different cities throughout OC allows us to interact with patients of all ages, backgrounds and languages. To overcome language barriers, we partnered with other organizations to provide communities that speak Vietnamese, Spanish, Chinese, Samoan, to name a few. AASCSC hopes to continue spreading health and awareness to underserved communities. We will continue to have mobile vaccination clinics and continue to look for areas that need us. AASCSC hopes to continues giving and the best care possible to all our patients.
